Schrödinger's Cat Part 1

A modern philosophical interpretation of Quantum Theory is that, unless you make an actual observation of anything happening in the Universe, nothing specifically is happening. For instance, in a closed box that is not open for observation, you can make a prediction as to what you will observe when you open the box, but while it remains closed, the physical state of whatever is inside is in a "mixture" of possible states, not in any specific state.

For instance, set up an experiment where a cat is inside a box, and you have a quantum switch that kills the cat after a certain amount of time.
