In summary, this is happening: The XYZ-1 set of rods are stuck to the floor. The XY rods are actually directly glued to the floor, and the Z rod is pointing up.

The XYZ-2 set of 3 rods are moving away from the XYZ-1 rods at some speed V, say 3 inches per second, or just 3. Note that only at time T = 0 were the ORIGINS of the rods (where the X, Y and Z rods meet) both together. At all times later, they are away from each other and getting farther away from each other every second.

So both systems of rods, both coordinate systems, are moving away from each other, in real space.

Now let is look at what is happening geometrically in the construct known as Minkowski Space. Next.
