Part 9

Next, I will show a little better why the math of Minkowski Space works and how, even though there is no "real" equivalence between 4D Minkowski Space and the real world of 3D Space and Time. Don't get me wrong. This is a very practical CORRESPONDENCE, just not an equivalence.

Then I will show how Einstein generalized the math and geometry of Minkowski's discovery to produce his theory of General Relativity, which involves mathematically modeling or "picturing" space and time (or Space-Time) as a 4 dimensional SURFACE inside of a larger imaginary 5 dimensional space.

As the picture shows, I don't mean a flat surface. Generally, the surface is curved, and instead of XYZ axes being set up at right angles to each other, the axes are CURVES on the surface.
